I went home to see Dad for the Easter holidays. Of course, Mum had to send my Easter eggs - I know she'll still be sending them when I'm 30. At least they usually have chocolate in them.

I've started writing music. Actual music with cords and I think it might actually go somewhere. I don't know if I can bring myself to write the lyrics yet, but I've got to give it a shot or I'll never know.

I'm still reading the graphic novels a friend sent. Very interesting reading to say the least.

Owled Dad yesterday so he could send me some of my sheet music as well as a few of the blank sheets I bought over the summer. I think I might actually be ready to write something on my own.

I have found something special in Ardyn. Something that I didn't expect. It seems I've been fancying the wrong person for so long I couldn't see anyone else. He's very sweet and cute. Just a pleasure to be around. I can be myself. Something I've always seemed to have a problem with before...except with Michael and Terry. They're good mates, just not into the same things I am.

Ellie always brings me awesome stuff when she comes back from Dad's.

He sent me the rare Superman that I've been wanting. Mum found it for me, of course.

It's the one where Clark gives Lois a super kiss under the mistletoe. And how she still can't figure out it's him, is beyond me. Bloody idiot.

I wanted it for Christmas, but Mum hadn't found it yet. I'm sure it wasn't cheap, but she knows I'll take care of it.

I thought it'd be hard coming back here, but it isn't really. I do love it here, but New York feels more like home to me these days. Dad thinks I'm just into seeing all the shows on Broadway, but that's not it. It's all the great vibes that keep everyone in the city going on their way.

Grease was fabulous. I can't wait to see it again.

I mean, the whole Tri-Wizard Tournament thing is pretty brilliant. It keeps us busy with the visiting schools here. And let me just say...those girls from Beauxbatons are really gorgeous. I've actually talked to a few of them, but it's kind of hard to get past the accent.
